Where do I begin?

Begin by browsing our website & start discovering our expansive collection. Then give us a call at anytime for more information, a price quote, to make your reservation or to schedule your free consultation. You may schedule and appointment and  come into Katy Birds studio showroom or we can pow-wow over the phone.

How do I reserve the items from your collection?

When you are ready to reserve your event items we will need your basic information: Name, Phone Number, Address and a 50% deposit. We also request a valid credit card # on file. We advise making your reservation 3-6 months in advance for large parties of 75+ guests. Give us a call at 415-497-0119 to make an appointment. We will walk you through everything!

When do I pay the balance of the reservation?

Final payment is due 2 weeks prior to your pick-up or delivery date.

How long do I get the rentals for?

Generally rental rates are for a three day period. For example, you will have the day before the event for set-up, the day of your event, and the day after the event for break down and return.

Do you deliver?

Absolutely.

We prefer to deliver, set-up, and break-down our vintage collection of antiques and event specialties. However, if you just want pick-up and delivery that’s okay, too. A delivery quote is separate from the rental quote and is based on distance to event venue and difficulty getting from “load in” parking to site.

Can I pick-up my order?

Most of our vintage and antique collection can be picked-up. However, to minimize breakage to certain collections and items, we require our personal delivery, set-up and return. This is only for certain items and can be discussed as part of your event planning. A quote for our delivery service will be given prior to your reservation.

Do you style events?

Yes! We love it!

Katy Birds charges for event styling will vary based on size of event and how many staff people are required. Styling your event includes delivery, set-up and break down.

Can I change my reservation?

Adding to your rental order is subject to availability and may require an additional deposit.

We do our best to help you with budgeting your event, however, fees will incur if you reduce your order or cancel your order.

Full details will be discussed at the time you place your reservation.

Do I need to clean the items for return?

It is expected that china, glassware, flatware and all service pieces be rinsed free of food before being packed into their appropriate containers and boxes.

Katy Birds will launder all linens. Please do not place them in plastic bags to help us avoid mildewing.

What about damaged items?

All items rented are your responsibility from the time of pick-up until items are returned to KatyBirds studio.

There is a full replacement fee for all items damaged beyond repair or are missing upon return—this includes all containers and materials used in packing.
